Hi there, I'm Jessica! I am a wife, a mom, and I love making people feel welcomed and at home in whatever space or environment I find myself in. My husband Eric is sincerely my best friend and I adore our two little boys, Easton & Rhett. Being a wife and a mom are two of life's greatest gifts! I function best in structure, but I need a little spontaneous fun thrown in to keep life interesting. I'm an Enneagram 2, so simply put: I love to CARE & I thrive in the context of relationships! Organization runs in my veins, I'm a perfectionist who is obsessed with color-coding, and I hate working alone (teamwork is where it's at!)! I love rainy, cozy days, a good cup of coffee, and Jesus. Long adventure drives are my relaxation outlet, and I will always say yes to pizza or a cheeseburger.

My Favorite Wedding Day Moment
Hey everyone, I’m Kira and I love hiking the beautiful PNW, baking, and doing puzzles. I’m a morning person and am always game for adventures to search out new coffee shops with my husband and friends. Summer is my absolute favorite time of year and it’s always a great time to get outside with my dog, Murphy! When it comes to weddings, I truly enjoy setting up and seeing each couple’s unique and beautiful vision come to life!

Hi I’m Hailey! I enjoy country line dancing, hiking, and mornings. I’m originally from Wisconsin, but my husband is teaching me all about Washington as we explore and build our life together here in the PNW! However, I haven’t yet learned to love coffee! I find so much joy in flowers, floral design, and creating beautiful environments. My favorite part of weddings is seeing the floral choices bring a space to life!

Hi, Jamie here and I love to celebrate, host, and enjoy any excuse to bring people together! Coffee is my love language and crafting unique and custom coffees is a daily routine that brings me so much joy (and caffeine)! I enjoy running, strength training, and spending time with my husband, our families, and our sweet pups. My favorite thing about weddings is seeing families come together and truly sensing all the love shared throughout the day!

My path to wedding planning combined education, experience, and personal passion. With a BA in Business Management focused on Hospitality (2011), I gained valuable experience in catering and weddings working at a resort in Oregon during my college summers. Over the next decade, while working in various administrative roles, I continued coordinating events and weddings for friends, developing my skills and passion for the industry.

The JYE Story
In 2021, two life-changing events happened. I married my long-time best friend in a wedding we planned in just three months at Machias Meadows, and I was seeking a career change that would allow me the flexibility of being a work-from-home mom. Encouraged by the owners of Machias Meadows, I took a leap of faith and started Jessica Young Events.
During my first two years, I staffed over 100 weddings at the venue, gaining invaluable multi-vendor perspective on the wedding industry. Today, I lead a talented team serving couples throughout western Washington, from Snohomish to Seattle and Port Angeles to Mount Vernon. We love the Pacific Northwest and can't wait to see where our amazing clients will take us next!
